About This Package Deal
This 3-day kayak tour is a great way to experience our three most famous rivers for only $250.00 per person!
On the first day, we meet at Spring Creek to experience its crystal clear waters as we make our way up to the headwaters. There, you will see the water coming up through the sands just below the surface among the unique Mare's Eggs, which grow in only a few spots in the world.
On the second day, we meet at the pristine headwaters of the Wood River, where we put into the aqua-blue clear waters to take an energetic paddle on its moving waters downstream.
On the third day, we'll start at the confluence of Spring Creek and Williamson water and paddle over the unique underwater lava formations, where you will see the big Redband Trout that call this river their home. Three days of Fun!
We require a minimum of 3 people attending a tour for the guided tour. We suggest you call our office before making a reservation online to check if you are booking for two persons or less.
Each Guided Tour starts at 9:30 am or 1:30 pm am and lasts approximately 3 hours. We ask all guests to arrive 30 minutes before departure.
The Lower Stretch of Spring Creek, Oregon
Friday Day 1 - Spring Creek
Kayak on the Crystal-clear Spring Creek. Upstream from The Williamson River which Spring Creek flows into. These waters are famous for their quality trout fishery and consistently produce trophy fish. Spring Creek gushes dramatically out of a nearby spring and then produces awesome colors in its pristine waters as it flows through the park. We put you in at the day-use area behind the Collier Logging Museum where we go upstream then down while we show you around.
Saturday Day 2 - Headwaters of The Wood River
The nearly pristine waters of the Wood River at Jackson F. Kimbal State Park in Oregon start flowing from springs that are fed by underground waters originating below Crater Lake National Park, which is located only a short distance to the north.
Our guides will put you in at the headwaters where you will embark on a beautiful 3-hour float down the Wood River to the Kimball Park day-use area. This river is known for its crystal clear waters and huge Brown Trout.
This class 1 river provides just enough water current and bends to keep your paddle moving as you enjoy your outdoor adventure.
Sunday Day 3 - The Williamson River
The Williamson River is always a favorite with lots of room to float around! We put in at Collier Memorial State Park day-use area and with a little paddling and some current make it to downtown Chiloquin in about 3 hours. This is a pretty easy trip with a couple small ripples to go through to add to the fun. We offer two different runs for you to choose from. The first starts at Collier Memorial State Park and ends at downtown Chiloquin. The second is a little more adventurous and starts below where the first ends and takes you down to The Waterwheel RV Park for the take-out.
